Versatile 5-foot-11, 160-pound prospect. Top catcher present, but also shows skill set for the outfield. Pop time sat around 2.16, but repeatable mechanics with accurate throws (topped at 72 mph from the crouch). Provided a balanced catching stance, but can improve power output with getting to a stronger throwing position by quickening his feet and getting aligned with his target as opposed to staggered. Numbers will improve with age. Mostly fluid actions in the outfield with top velo of 81 mph from the outfield. Stops momentum at times. Needs to continue developing comfortability playing through the baseball. At the plate, he starts in an athletic stance. Fluid rhythm to his swing. Transfers weight well through contact generating solid, line drive contact. Showed occasional pull power in his swing that should only improve as he physically matures. Definite follow in the 2020 class.
