8/3/14
5-foot-9, 165-pound average body frame. Infielder has a tendency to stop his feet with ground balls hit at him and can improve footwork by playing through the baseball as he does with ground balls hit away from him. Showed solid glove skills, throws through ¾ slot with 70 mph arm strength. Left-handed hitter begins from a balanced stance, uses a short stride, shows quickness in hands, up the middle to pull tendencies, had a good round of BP squaring up the baseball with line drives showing doubles type power. He swings using 70 mph exit velocity. Ran a 4.60 out of the box to first base.
9/22/13
5-foot-8, 160 pounds with a strong athletic frame. In the field, he shows average range, and a clean exchange. Accurate with his throws. Topped out at 71 mph across the diamond. Better suited as a second baseman at the next level. His best tool is his left handed bat. Starts with a wide straight on stance. Features a compact swing with good overall bat speed. Projects a high contact rate. Can drive the ball to all parts of the field. Shows flashes of potential power, but just not consistent right now.
