Jordan Geiger: RHP/C, (2023) West Clermont, OH. 5-foot-10, 210-pound. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 85 mph. (67.1 mph bat speed average). (20.8 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a quick stride. Bat speed is quick, has a short simple swing plane and high finish. While catching, throw downs to second topped out at 73 mph; has a clean transfer, consistent feet, and firm hands. consistently had pop times of 2.10-2.19. Quiet setup with some flexibility. Used a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. On the mound, used a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle while showing consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses easy effort. Threw his fastball 78-79 mph. Shows slight running action. (Max spin 2020; Avg 2018). Threw a 11/5 curveball (60-61) with slurvey action. (Max spin 1896; Avg 1889). His changeup (63-65) had some action. Ran a 4.62 30 yard dash.

5-foot-9, 195-pound solid frame. Raw during batting practice, Geiger's best exit velocity was 76 mph. Begins in a tall stance with a slow load, then uses a short stride. Has average bat speed, flat upward swing plane and a back foot finish. In the round he found a few barrels with some loud contact. Base hit approach. Behind the plate, he made throws to second at velocities up to 70 mph; had a clean exchange, smooth footwork, and soft hands. He produced a pop time of 2.06-2.19. Average flexibility and athletic setup. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 8.13. Capable on the mound, used a compact arm action with a ¾ arm angle while showing good arm speed. Slow-tempo type pitcher who uses easy effort. Even shoulders and a low balance point. Lands closed with a clean finish. Sat with his fastball at 76-79 mph; shows sinking action and command in the zone. Throws a 11/5 curveball (60-62) that shows control around the zone and gradual action. Shows arm side control and fading action on his flat changeup (65-68).
