Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a quick stride. Had a level simple swing plane, quick bat speed and high finish. Solid from the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 73 mph; had sure hands, a natural exchange, and consistent footwork. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. Established speed as one of his strengths with an efficient 60 time of 6.96. On the mound, showed some arm speed, also used a high ¾ arm angle and a quick arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Shows slight running action. (Max spin 2084; Avg 2044).
