Ran an 8.07 60-yard dash. In the infield he uses quick, direct footwork prior to fielding. Does a nice job of playing low and fielding out in front of his body. Could create better angels with feet to maintain momentum through fielding into throws. Transfer is very quick. Showed off 69 mph arm strength across the diamond. Also worked out behind the plate. Pop times were consistently in the low to mid 2.2’s, ranging anywhere from 2.22-2.31. Threw to second base with 67 mph arm strength. A right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic stance. Weight starts on back leg before getting to front side at weight shift. Hands are simple prior to trigger with the barrel launching from a vertical position. Bat shows obvious whip through the zone and swing is compact. A line drive type guy with feel for the barrel to both sides of the field. Reached a top exit velocity of 74 mph. On the bump the 5-foot-9, 137-pound right-hander shows rhythm in a efficient delivery that is repeatable. Uses a long arm action working through a high-¾ slot. Fastball has regular cutting action and sat 68-70 mph. Breaking ball shows signs of depth on a 11/5 tilt at 61-63 mph. His third pitch, a changeup that sat 66-67 mph there isn’t much separation from the fastball. The feel is there, and the pitch has consistent cutting action.
