Behind the plate he used quick footwork and a clean exchange to have his pop times consistently sit between 2.00-2.09. Did a good job of getting in line to second base and showed 75 mph arm strength to second base. Ran a 4.56 from home to first.

6-foot, 200-pound solid build. Very versatile player with advanced skills for his age. Over at first base he shows good footwork around the bag with a strong arm for his age of 79 mph across the diamond. Behind the plate he shows quick footwork to get his feet in line and a quick transfer. Throw from a short, high-3/4 slot with pop times ranging 2.08-2.16 and 74 mph arm strength. All numbers will improve once he gets stronger. Right-handed hitter that starts open and gets to even. Uses a leg kick to load with loose hands and some strength in his swing. Barrel tends to get in and out of the zone with 79 mph exit velocity and ran a 4.85 home to first.
9/29/19 Swing Mechanics:Fluid, efficient loading sequence that he can repeat. Hit: Balanced swing with a slightly downhill path to contact. Feel hitter that controls the barrel well. Used the whole field in BP. Like the hit tool. Takes what the pitch gives him and he's efficient enough to backspin it to both gaps. Power:Easy gap abilities with what looks to be the capability for occasional power. Offensive Projection:Multiple Roles. Run:7.48 Field: 1.93-2.0 pops in workout. More than capable receiver with the lateral mobility to get to any block that could be expected from a college backstop. Solid defender. Throw: 76 mph arm strength behind the dish. Defensive Projection: C.
