Lake Cundiff: OF/RHP, (2023) Hamilton, OH. 5-foot-10, 160-pound. In the box, Cundiff had an exit velocity of 91 mph. (66.8 mph bat speed average). (21.3 mph hand speed average). Started in an athletic quiet stance with a quick load, then used a controlled small leg kick. Bat speed was quick, had an uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid in the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 84 mph; has a natural exchange, consistent feet, and firm hands. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. (Max spin 1952; Avg 1909). Ran a 4.17 30 yard dash.
Lake Cundiff: OF/RHP, (2023) Hamilton, OH. 5-foot-10, 160-pound. During batting practice, Cundiff had an exit velocity of 89 mph. (67.5 mph bat speed average). (21.2 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced quiet stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Has a simple upward swing plane, quick bat speed and high finish. Solid from the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 84 mph; had a fluid exchange, consistent footwork, and sure hands. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. Clocked a 60 time of 7.11 at the event. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed, also used a loose arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses easy effort. Sat with his fastball at 78-79 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 1975; Avg 1907). Throws a 11/5 curveball (68-69) that has slurvey action. (Max spin 1432; Avg 1407). He has slight sinking action on his changeup (67-68).
Lake Cundiff: OF/RHP, (2023) Hamilton, OH. 5-foot-10, 160-pound athletic frame. At the plate, Cundiff clocked an exit velocity of 88 mph. Begins in a wide balanced stance with a smooth quick load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed was above average, and used a rotational an inside-out swing plane. Athletic in the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 84 mph; showed soft hands, athletic feet, and a clean exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball one hand. Arm action was quick. On the mound, used a quick arm action and a ¾ arm angle while showing quick arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Showed an athletic balance point. Sat with his fastball at 79-82 mph; shows arm side control and running action. Showed a 11/5 curveball (69-72) with plus action. Had fading action and arm side command on his changeup (72-73).
