Vakuda is a talented, well-rounded player that we could have listed under almost any category regarding position players. As a defender he was all over the field, making a ton of plays at all three skill spots. Feet work very well and he displayed some of the top ball skills at the event. At the plate he shows off an athletic stroke from the left side that profiles nicely at the top of a lineup.

Body Type: 5-foot-6, 155-pound athletic frame. Middle infielder look to him. More filled out than numbers would lead you to believe.
Hit: Left-handed hitter with an athletic/efficient stroke. Very balanced swinger with feel for the barrel. Swing plays. Uses the whole field with backspin. Takes what the pitch gives him/won’t force the ball to either side of the feel. Mature approach at the plate.
Power: 82 mph exit velocity. More than a contact guy but not yet a run producer type. Sprayed line drives all over the yard. More to come as he adds physicality. Very fast hands with some strength through contact. BP was much louder than exit velocity would suggest.
Offensive Projection: Skill set plays in multiple roles. Top of the lineup to three hole look to him.
Run: 4.41 home to first.
Field: One of the top defenders we saw on the day. Looks the part across the board. Feet are rhythmic/create angles and he has advanced ball skills.
Throw: 82 mph. Should develop into enough to keep the left side of the infield an option.
Defensive Projection: Middle Infield Additional Comments: Very good, well-rounded player that is a scholarship level talent. Continues to stand out this winter.
