6/6/17 A left-handed pitching prospect in the 2018 class. Uses a slower pace tempo to his low effort delivery. Arm action is clean with developing arm speed. Throws through an over the top slot with his fastball sitting 74-77 mph. Breaking ball showed gradual break on a 1/7 plane. Manfredi has decent feel for the pitch that came in at 61-63 mph.
2/4/17 A southpaw with a very projectable frame at 6-foot-4, 210-pounds. Works through an over the top slot with regular effort to his delivery. Fastball works downhill at 77-81 mph. Spins a 1/7 shaped breaking ball that had gradual break at 63-66 mph. Tends to slow arm a bit on his changeup. Secondary stuff has potential but needs to be in the zone more often.
1/16/17 6-foot-4, 210-pound projectable frame. Throws through a high ¾ slot. Arm action is short and has quickness to the arm. Quick temp delivery that requires effort. Uses a high lift and projects his center in good direction towards home plate. Fastball had consistent cutting action to it sitting 77-78 mph. Displayed a 1/7 curveball with depth at 63-64 mph. Also showed a 63-68 mph forkball that falls of the table.
9/29/19 Body Type: 6-foot-3, 222-pound very physical frame. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: It's almost like you're watching a completely different guy than what we saw in high school. Delivery is much cleaner/more athletic and has lost a ton of effort. Fastball: Generates easy velocity, sitting 87-89 mph. Heavy pitch with late life through the zone. Breaking Ball: Slider that is an above average offering. Comes in at 74-75 mph with a nice combination of depth and action. Changeup: Playable third offering. Didn't throw often. How this pitch develops will seemingly be a factor in his future role within a staff. Pitchability: Filled it up. Additional Comments: High level arm talent that has made giant strides over the past few years. Expect his starts this spring to be heavily attended by college scouts. Could easily see him in a starting rotation at the D1 level.
