Nate Muncy: LHP/1B, (2024) Southeast, OH. 6-foot-2, 205-pound projectable athletic frame. Started in a strong athletic stance with a controlled smooth load, then used a controlled leg kick. Has an uphill loose swing plane, electric explosive bat speed and good extension on his balanced finish. Barreled up lots of balls with tons of loud contact. Aggressive tough out approach. Advanced projectable in the infield, had a live arm with throws that topped out at 85 mph; had a packing exchange, next level hands, and smooth consistent footwork. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a high ¾ slot and a short very quick arm action. Projectable advanced on the mound, showed quick consistent arm speed with a short clean arm action and an over-the-top arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses decent effort. Showed consistent balance point and in line shoulders. Lands closed with recoil finish. (Max spin 2295; Avg 2210).
