5-foot-11, 185-pound athletic body frame. From behind the plate he has quick, efficient footwork and does a good job carrying his momentum in good direction on his throws to second base. Clean exchange and arm action through a high ¾ slot. Recorded pop times between 2.00-2.09 and a velocity of 70 mph. Has a well connected, smooth lefty swing. Starts in an open stance using a leg kick to initiate good lower half load landing even at foot strike, and finishes with a two-handed follow through. Has pop in his bat and showed the ability to hit the ball to both sides of the field during his round of BP reaching an exit velocity of 85 mph. Ran a 7.73 60-yard dash.
Body type: 5-foot-10, 175-pound projectable frame.
Swing mechanics: Small leg kick that is smooth and loose with a bat tip.
Hit: Middle-back approach with a level swing path that produces line drives.
Power: Flashed pop during BP. Just could add more size.
Offensive Projection: To be determined.
Field: Smooth and quick transfer with very efficient feet.
Throw: Above average arm strength with above average arm action.
Defensive Projection: Catcher.

Swing Mechanics: Starts in a medium, balanced stance. Uses a leg kick load. Barrel stays through the zone well with an on plane bat path. Swing shows some natural lift.
Hit: Good barrel control.
Power: 76 mph exit velocity.
Offensive Projection: Shows natural lift to his swing which could help him put balls into the gap more effectively but raw power is presently a limiting factor to his offensive potential. Adding strength should be a high priority for Kassis.
Field: Behind the plate he showed average footwork with a good exchange and release on his throws.
Throw: 70 mph from behind the plate.
Run: 4.58 home to first.
Defensive Projection: Kassis shows some potential behind the plate. Overall, quick twitch nature of his movements will need to improve but his actions show potential.
