7/25/17 A right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Loading sequence is fluid and athletic. Lower half creates energy and timing. Barrel stays loose and fluid prior to swing decision. Path is mostly level with solid strength through contact. Bat speed is also an above average tool. Displayed gap to gap pop, with the ability to produce backspin. Looks to be on the verge of developing into a middle of the lineup bat. Solid young hitter. A sure handed middle infielder that gets the job done. Doesn’t have a ton of flash to his actions but very mechanically sound. Glove skills are advanced and he showed obvious confidence in them. In game he showed a high baseball IQ, reading swings and repositioning himself accordingly. Has the look of a guy who has a real chance to stay at shortstop with more than enough tools to play the other two spots if need be 60-yard Dash: 6.94 Infield Velocity: 80 Exit Velocity: 83
7/26/16
5-foot-9, 155-pound athletic build. Ran a 7.41 60-yard dash. At the plate he keeps his hands simple during his leg kick load and stride. Swing is short and compact with some quickness to his bat. A contact type hitter that found the barrel consistently during batting practice. Top exit velocity was 76 mph. In the infield he had obvious feel for the shortstop position. Footwork was fluid and created efficient angles to play through the baseball. Glove skills are there. Threw across the infield with 70 mph arm strength.

Offers a comparable combination of strength and speed to stroke. Line drive/ground ball flight throughout round. Power:Contact type bat who will flash gap abilities in BP. Offensive Projection:Table Setter presently. Run:7.19 Field: Very sure-handed defender with advanced ball skills. Actions are simple/efficient. Makes play and can move in/out of funnel with ease.
