A physical bat from the right side. Starts in an athletic stance prior to getting into his smooth loading sequence. Does a nice job of controlling pre swing movements, creating consistent timing. Showed feel for the barrel inside his level path to the baseball. Generates high output with a lower effort swing. Swing projects for average with power around the corner as bat speed catches up to strength.

At the plate he starts his loading sequence with a toe turn load. Hands stay rhythmic as the move to launch. Swing is compact on a level path. Stronger than he is fast with the bat at this stage. Was at this best when he worked to his opposite field gap. Showed the ability to produce backspin on his line drives to right-center. Behind the plate he does a nice job of creating direction with his feet during his transfer. Mechanically sound with solid transfer skills. Will need to speed up feet and transfer as he matures.
