2/8/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: Meacham threw from a ¾ arm slot with a long stroke in the backside of his arm action. Fastball: Fastball was 67-70 mph and true through the zone. Fastball Spin Rate:1300-1420 Curveball: Breaking ball was 52-57 mph and showed a downward tumbling type action. Curveball Spin Rate:1490-1500 Changeup: Changeup was 61-64 mph with some fade and depth at times. Pitchability: Average feel for his three pitch mix. Changeup is currently the more advanced of his two secondary pitches. Breaking ball will improve when thrown with more aggressiveness and arm speed.

Body Type: 5-foot-11, 156-pound thin frame. Swing Mechanics: Wide stance with a simple load that has minimal movement. Hit: Level bat path that gets inside the baseball well and goes to all fields. Good feel in the box. Power: Line drive guy right now. Offensive Projection: TBD. Field: In the outfield he plays with good tempo and fluid actions. Ball skills appear to be on par for class. Also worked out at first base. Smooth actions off the bag with respectable ball skills. Throw: 3/4 righty with developing strength. Defensive Projection: OF/1B.

Ball comes off well and he has feel for contact. Impressive performance. Power: 81 mph exit velocity. Run: 4.93 H-1st. Field: Worked out at both first base and the outfield. Frame plays at first base and in the corners. Mechanically sound at both spots with fluid actions. Throw: 65 mph from the infield and 69 mph from the outfield.
