Owen Schroeder: RHP/OF, (2023) Turpin, OH. 6-foot-3, 160-pound. Solid on the mound, showed quick arm speed, also used a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Tall-and-fall type pitcher and shows easy effort. Displays downhill shoulders with a tall balance point. Lands soft with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 81-83 mph. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2103; Avg 2044). Threw a 11/5 curveball (65-67) with slurvey action. (Max spin 2181; Avg 2167). His changeup (71-73) shows late action.
Owen Schroeder: RHP/OF, (2023) Turpin, OH. 6-foot-3, 160-pound projectable frame. Solid in the box, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 85 mph. Started in an open stance with a controlled load, then used a short stride. Had a rotational swing plane, and his bat speed was average. Found some barrels through his rounds. Gap to gap approach. Capable his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 87 mph; had consistent hands, a fluid clean exchange, and consistent average footwork. Used a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. Solid on the mound, showed quick arm speed with a high ¾ arm angle and a compact arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Had cutting action and consistent command. His 10/4 curveball showed gradual action.
Owen Schroeder: RHP/OF, (2023) Turpin, OH. 6-foot-2, 155-pound projectable frame. In the box, Schroeder had an exit velocity of 84 mph. Began in an open athletic stance with a low controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Has an uphill swing plane and average bat speed. Athletic recorded an outfield position velocity of 85 mph; had athletic developing footwork, a developing exchange, and sure hands. Fields the ball one hand, movements laterally were athletic. On the mound, showed a long arm action and a ¾ arm angle with quick arm speed Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Showed an athletic balance point. Produced a fastball that came in at 80-82 mph; shows running action and arm side control. Threw a 11/5 slider (71-72) with plus action.
Scouting Notes: A lot to like here. Long-limbed, 6-foot-2 mound prospect with a fast arm and endless projection left on frame. Breaking ball also showed flashes of being +avg offering. Expect him to throw very hard someday.
Fastball: 80-82mph.

Changeup:
Hit:Mostly balanced stroke from the right side. Uphill path with a balanced combination of strength and speed to hands. Worked all fields with most natural flight up the middle. Knocked a base hit up the middle in game.
