Owen Tornow: SS/RHP, (2024) Riverside, OH. 6-foot-2, 170-pound athletic projectable frame. Started in an athletic stance with a quick controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is electric, exhibits an uphill swing plane and balanced finish. He created tons of loud contact and found lots of barrels. Gap to gap approach. Advanced while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 81 mph; had soft sure hands, a twitchy exchange, and quick fluid footwork. Movements laterally were quick athletic and he fields the ball out front. Showed uninterrupted slot and a quick arm action with consistent accuracy to the base. Advanced on the mound, showed a high ¾ arm angle and a very quick arm action with lightning arm speed. Stretch only type pitcher who shows some effort. Showed consistent balance point and in line shoulders. Lands square with a clean finish. (Max spin 1928; Avg 1875).

Advanced while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 80 mph; has smooth consistent feet, next level hands, and a quick twitchy exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot and a short quick arm action. Smooth capable on the mound, had an over-the-top arm angle and a short clean arm action with quick arm speed. Stretch only type pitcher and uses some effort. Showed tall balance point and uphill shoulders. Lands square with an athletic recoil finish. (Max spin 1974; Avg 1818).
