7/12/17
From the crouch, he starts in a wider stance. Showcases decent catch and throw ability. Transfers the ball cleanly at his chest before throwing from a 3/4 arm slot. Footwork is still developing, but he utilizes all of his lower half in his release. A right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Barrel get momentum early and moves back to a strong launch position. Creates energy and timing through a controlled stride. Path is level and his strength stood out in his swing. Bat speed is also and above average tool for his class. Consistently found the barrel in BP, creating backspin to both fields. Flashed power potential to his pull side. On the mound the right-hander has a smooth tempo to his repeatable delivery. Arm is long and loose, moving through a high-3/4 slot. Fastball comes out of his hand well and was mostly straight through the zone. When he did miss with the pitch it was arm side. Showed solid feel for both of his secondary offering. Breaking ball was tight, while working on an 11/5 plane. Puts good spin on the pitch that was consistently in the zone. Did a nice job of maintaining fastball arm speed on his changeup. The offering showed late run and dive. Should be an effective arm if he can consistently locate his fastball.

1/29/17
5-foot-11, 170-pound righty that starts square to home plate. Uses small rocker step with big leg kick. Slow tempo to his delivery. Fastball is typically straight in the mid 70’s. Breaking ball shows gradual 12/6 movement. Mixed in 69-70 mph changeup thrown with good arm action. Still developing consistency with the pitch. A right handed hitter that uses a simple approach mechanically and lets his natural tools go to work. Strength and bat speed are both well above average. Takes a mostly level path to the baseball. Showed gap to gap pop in batting practice. From the outfield, he consistently fields the ball to his glove side and keeps momentum through his throws. Uses big crow hop that creates some length to his transfer. Long arm action through high ¾ arm slot. Top velocity of 78 mph on his throws.

8/2/16
5-foot-11, 170-pound athletic frame. Ran a 4.99 from home to first. In the outfield he threw to home plate with 78 mph arm strength. Arm is loose while working through a high-¾ slot. At the plate he starts in a tall setup and takes his hands back during short stride forward. Takes an uphill path to the ball with strength through contact. Top exit velocity was 77 mph. On the mound he has a quicker tempo and definite quickness to his arm. Working through a high-¾ slot his fastball sat 76-78 mph. Breaking ball was sharp at times with an 11/5 shape at 62-65 mph. Also flashed a changeup near fastball armspeed.
