Sits on the backside a creates shoulder tilt through the stride with good direction to home plate. Threw strikes and shows good feel for a 3 pitch mix. Fastball works downhill with some cut at 72-74 MPH. Breaking ball was 12/6 with depth at 60-63 MPH. Also worked in a slider at 65-68 MPH, the pitch has 2/8 movement and tight spin. A two way prospect. A versatile defender that looks to have an above average skill set in the outfield and at first base. Projects as a corner guy in the outfield that has feel for the spot. Actions are fluid and he plays through the baseball with confidence. Showed off 80 mph arm strength to home plate. At first base he moves well around the bag, bringing above average athleticism to the position. Glove is an above average tool as well. At the plate he impressed during batting practice. The lefty swinger has a simple, repeatable loading sequence prior to swing decision. Barrel travels on a level path and he doesn’t get cheated up there. Showed the ability to do damage to both sides of the field, with feel for the barrel. Exit velocity was 80 mph.

6’1, 175-pound prospect. A lefty bat that gets things started with a toe turn. Hands moves slightly back prior to launch. Path is level with some loft at times. A strong kid with bat speed in there. Ball comes off his bat well, especially to pull side. Showed middle of the lineup potential. In the outfield he plays under control getting to the baseball. Plays through the baseball with average ball skills. Ball gets out of his hand well, showing accuracy to his throws. At first base he brings above average athleticism to the position. On the mound the southpaw has an uptempo delivery that requires some effort. Uses a chest high leg lift prior to his drop and drive load. Lands in line to home plate with his momentum carrying him to the third base line. Works through an over the top slot with average arm speed. Fastball showed occasional run to his arm side. 2/13/16
6-foot, 170-pound athletic frame. On the mound the southpaw has a slow tempo with some rhythm to a delivery that requires regular effort. A four pitch mix guys that uses an over the top slot which had his fastball sitting 68-69 mph. Curveball has gradual break at a 1/7 shape at 56-57 mph and his slider showed signs of sharpness with a 2/8 shape. His best offspeed pitch was his 61-63 mph changeup that had some run and sink near fastball armspeed. At the plate he starts in a balanced, slightly open set up from the left side. He goes with a toe turn load to get back to even while keeping his hands quiet. Showed some batspeed through the zone taking a level path to the ball. Exit velocity was 76 mph.
