2/1/17
A strong 6-foot, 200-pound frame. The righty uses a slower tempo to his delivery that speeds up prior to delivery. Arm showed above average arm speed while working through a near over the top slot. Arm action is longer and he lands in line to home plate at foot strike. Delivery looks to repeatable. His four seam fastball was mostly straight as it enters the zone at 75-78 mph, topping at 80 mph. Two seam showed heavy run at times without losing velocity. His breaking ball works on an 11/5 plane with gradual break at 59-62 mph. A righty swinger that starts very open and gets back to even with a controlled stride. An ambush hitter that uses little gather prior to weight shift. Ball comes off his bat well, showing above average bat speed and impressive strength. A corner infield type in the infield. Moves well for frame with above average lateral mobility. Fields the ball deeper in the middle of his body. Looked very confident to his back hands side.

Infield Velocity: 80
Exit Velocity: 74

8/2/16
6-foot, 180-pound strong frame. Ran a 4.62 from home to first. The third baseman showed fluid footwork while approaching the ball and did a nice job of maintaining momentum through fielding. Glove skills are adequate. Threw across the infield with 69 mph arm strength. At the plate he starts with a very open setup and uses a short stride to get back to even. Hands are simple. Bat showed quickness through the zone. Found the barrel consistently and used the whole field in BP. Top exit velocity was 72 mph. On the mound he had solid tempo to a delivery that requires regular effort. Using a high-¾ slot his fastball sat 75-78 mph. Spins an 11/5 breaking ball that had gradual break at 64-66 mph. Also flashed a changeup near fastball arm speed at 69-70 mph.
