Notes

Comments

2/6/19
Body Type: 6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect. Looks the part.
Swing Mechanics: Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup and uses a simple approach mechanically.
Hit: Balanced launch with a downhill path to contact. Barrel has natural whip through the zone with obvious strength through contact. Even though strength is top tool but bat speed is also an above average tool. Has some room to clean up movements but the physicality is obvious.
Power: 85 mph exit velocity. Much more pop than exit velo suggest.
Offensive Projection: Middle of Lineup.
Run:  7.59 60-yard dash.
Field: In the infield he plays with fluid, quiet feet. Can create angles with soft hands through fielding. Ball skills are average. Behind the dish he recorded pop times of 1.93-2.03.
Throw: Clean arm with already above average strength and projects for more.
Defensive Projection: 3B.

2/7/18
A righty swinger that starts in a balanced setup. Uses a slight back load with hands as barrel wraps behind shoulder prior to launch. Uses a small leg lift for timing. Launches from a balanced position, showing a level path through the zone. Offers a balanced combination of strength/batspeed through the zone. Both tools should improve as he fills out his very projectable frame. A line drive guy who flashed gap abilities. In the infield he play under control to the baseball prior to fielding out in front of his body. Creates efficient angles and rarely got around the baseball. Not a flashy defender but looks sure-handed.

60-yard dash: 7.54

Pop Times: 2.06-2.1

Catcher Velocity: 72

Infield Velocity: 71

Exit Velocity: 80
