Reece is a very solid ball player that should get the attention of college coaches over the next year or so. Actions are flashy on either side of the ball but impressive hand eye coordination that correlates to both the glove and the bat. A middle infielder type that plays with smooth actions and well above average ball skills. At the plate he has a line drive swing from the right side with a ton of feel for squaring up the baseball. Sees it well in game with knowledge of the strike zone. Sprayed line drives to all fields.

Loading sequence has fluid movements, incorporating a slight bat tip during load with kick timing trigger. Swing is compact with slight uphill tendencies. Generates above average strength and speed through the zone. An aggressive swinger that can do damage when he finds the barrel. Smooth swinger in general with feel in the box. Looks the part in the infield. Actions are athletic and he can pick it.

5-foot-10, 145-pound athletic frame. At the plate he uses a double tap for load and timing with his lower half. Hands move back during his stride before taking a compact path to the ball. Hands got tied up at times, would like to see him loosen them up. Creates good energy into contact through a well timed weight shift. Reached a top exit velocity of 81 mph with more in the tank. In the infield he has quick footwork with adequate glove skills. Better pre fielding footwork would allow him to play through the ball more efficiently. Threw across the infield with 69 mph arm strength.
