Reed Sackett: OF, (2023) Stow-Munroe Falls, OH. 5-foot-9, 140-pound athletic frame. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 84 mph. Starts in an athletic stance with a quick controlled load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed is developing, shows a loose level swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found multiple barrels through his round. Line drive approach. Solid his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 74 mph; shows a quick exchange, sure soft hands, and rhythmic feet. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a consistent arm action and a high ¾ slot.
Hit: Athletic look in the box from the right side. Balanced swing with a level path. All field abilities with line to line direction.
Power: Natural tools are developing. Presently a bit more physical than he is fast but a 2023 with much more to come.
Offensive Projection: Top of lineup.
Max BP Exit Velocity: 75mph.
Max BP Distance: 224ft.
Field: Plays low and under control in the outfield. Maintains a consistent rhythm throughout. One=handed play through with ball skills ahead of the curve for class.
