Swing Mechanics: Smooth and simple load into his back leg. Keeps his hands loose and loaded until contact.
Hit: Uphill bat path with above average bat speed. Has natural ball flight to the middle part of the field.
Power: Flashed pop to the pull side. More to come as he develops as a hitter.
Offensive Projection: Middle of the lineup guy. Field: Has an open stance with a smooth and quick transfer. He receives and blocks the baseball well. Good feel for the position. Throw: Arm action is loose, and his arm strength is developing. Defensive Projection: Catcher.
10/14/18 A right-handed hitter that starts in a wider stance. Simple load into a front side launch. Intent driven swing on a slightly downhill plane. Big time upside with frame and natural tools. Has a chance to be a beast physically as he matures. Movements need cleaned up, but if he can add some loft to stroke/maintain energy in back hip a little longer he should hit for power down the road. Arm is top tool behind the dish. Ball jumps out of his hand with well above average strength/carry and accuracy. Pop Times: 2.22-2.45 Catcher Velocity: 78 Exit Velocity: 85
