Loud round from the backstop, leaving the yard on his first swing. The tools aren't hard to see here. 6-2, 195-pound put together prospect with real batspeed and top EV of 96mph. High ceiling bat with middle of the order future at the next level. Physical presence behind that dish with athleticism to match. Showed well defensively all weekend.

Hit:Arguably the top bat we saw of the first session. Simple, efficient and explosive. Left the yard with ease to pull side. Type of swing that should easily translate to game. Very impressive round with a top exit velocity of 94.4mph. Power:Ball looks different off his bat. Offensive Projection:Run producer. Field:One of the big winners of the event who showed well behind the dish. 6-foot-2, physical presence back there with an overall above average skill set back there. Throw:Above average strength. Defensive Projection:C.
2/22/20
2/22/20 Position Player Hit: Athletic stance with plus mechanics. Hitting comes easy as his swing has little to no effort. Stays level throughout the zone.' Power: Plus power with an exit velo of 95mph and a max distance of 312 feet. Offensive Projection: Power hitter that works gap to gap. Field: Compact athletic stance behind the dish with a quick pop time of 1.92. Presents fast transition with a quick arm action. Throw: 77mph catcher velo. Defensive Projection: C or Corner Infield.
5/4/18 Two-way prospect that really stood out with the bat. Middle of the lineup type frame and skill set. Loading sequence is very efficient/fluid, putting him a balanced/torqued position at swing decision. Strength is ahead of bat speed, generating regular gap pop. Showed the ability to drive the ball with authority to pull side in game. Also showed solid abilities behind the dish.
