Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Threw his fastball 82-86 mph. Has running action. (Max spin 2122; Avg 1876). His 1/7 curveball (63-66) has gradual action. (Max spin 2304; Avg 2198).
Sam Boardwine: LHP/OF, (2022) Miamisburg, OH. 5-foot-11, 170-pound. Solid on the mound, showing quick arm speed he used a short arm action and a ¾ arm angle. Feel type pitcher and uses some effort. During his delivery balance point is tall with even shoulders. Lands open with a falling off finish. Curveball (67-71 mph), changeup (75-78 mph). Sat with his fastball at 83-85 mph.
