6-foot-1, 230-pound thick build. Behind the plate he starts in a low, athletic crouch before getting into his throws. Would like to see him gain more ground toward second during his transfer. Pop times ranged from 2.19-2.32, and he threw with 72 mph arm strength. In the infield he uses quick footwork and moves very well laterally for his size. With short arm action he threw across the infield with 75 mph arm strength. A right-handed hitter that has rhythm to his load where he incorporates a leg kick to gather and transfer his weight. He uses a bat tip timing mechanism with his barrel to create extra whip through the zone on a slightly downhill path. Reached a top exit velocity of 79 mph. Ran a 5.03 from home to first.
