6-foot-0 and 150-pound right-handed pitching prospect. Rothwell has a slow tempo to a deceptive delivery. Uses a big lift with a high glove side and some shoulder tilt before releasing the ball across his body. Fastball works out of a high-3/4 slot with regular arm side run at 75-77 MPH. Breaking ball has a tight shorter break on a 11/5 tilt sitting 67-71 MPH. Also offered a changeup that shows regular sinking action at 67-69 MPH. Two-way prospect. A middle infielder with fluid actions. Feet are smooth and mechanically sound, allowing him to maintain rhythm throughout fielding sequence. Ball skills are on par for class and transfer shows urgency. Profiles at second base presently. A right-handed hitter that the plate that starts in a balanced setup. Uses a fluid back load during his leg kick timing trigger. Stays smooth/balanced throughout swing. A pull side hitter with more strength than speed to hands. Worked pull side, showing regular backspin and natural lift. Middle of the lineup potential.
