Shane Rue: RHP/SS, (2022) Massillon Washington, OH. 5-foot-7, 171-pound. Capable during batting practice, Rue clocked an exit velocity of 80 mph. Started in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth controlled load, then used a short stride. Bat speed was average, and displayed a level swing plane. He barreled up some balls during the round. Capable in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 77 mph; showed consistent hands, average feet, and a natural exchange. Recorded a time of 7.39 in the 60-yard dash. Solid on the mound, has a high ¾ arm angle and an long arm action. Slow-tempo type pitcher who shows some effort. Showed a consistent balance point. Displayed a clean finish Curveball (68-69 mph), changeup (72-74 mph).Sat with his fastball at 78-80 mph.
