Solid showing in BP. Physical dude w/above average bat speed and gap to gap direction. Natural loft to stroke allows him to lift the ball naturally. Run producer traits with a top EV of 93mph. In game he showed well behind the dish. Well +Avg arm, can block/receive smoothly and athletically. Going to be a solid addition to a college program.

Hit: Athletic loading sequence from the right side that leads to a balanced launch. Very physical bat that generated 90mph+exit velocities with regularity in BP. Middle of the order profile with 70+mph batspeed and above average rotational acceleration according to blast. Power: Gap to gap pop.. Offensive Projection: Top of lineup. Field: Very talented defender that checks all the boxes. Possesses size, athleticism, arm strength combination you don’t see a ton at that position. Ran a 7.58 60-yard dash. A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Initiates pre launch movement with a leg kick timing trigger. Hands remain quiet prior to accelerating the bat on a mostly level path to the baseball. Bat has some quickness to it and he was able to square the ball up consistently in BP. A line drive type guy who showed the ability to create backspin to the middle of the field. Recorded a top exit velocity of 75 mph. Behind the dish he recorded pop times of 2.05-2.21 and threw with 68 mph arm strength to second base. On the mound the 5-foot-10 and 135-pound right-hander uses a quick tempo delivery that has good direction and is repeatable. Fastball works through a high-¾ slot from a short arm action sitting 68-71 mph with cut. Also showed a 12/6 curveball, the pitch has late break at 62-65 mph.
