5-foot-11, 165-pound thin body frame with room to fill out with. From the outfield he shows good footwork approaching ground balls, fielding the baseball out front near his right foot. He could get a little bit more out of a crow hop. He throws with a clean arm action through a high ¾ slot, showing descent carry to his throws and reached a top velocity of 81 mph. Left-handed hitter starts from a tall, balanced stance, with his hands dropping into his load and uses a short leg kick. Swings with an upward bat path and finishes high with two-hand follow through. He showed the ability to use both sides of the field, with line drive production during his round of batting practice. He reached a top exit velocity of 82 mph and ran a 7.03 60-yard dash. On the mound the left-hander’s delivery requires regular effort. During his delivery he lands more closed, throwing slightly across his body. He follows through and finishes toward the third-base side. He throws using a shorter arm action with quick arm speed through a high ¾ slot. We saw an increase in velocity with his fastball since the last time we saw him, sitting between 82-84 mph. He threw his curveball at 70-72 mph with gradual break to the pitch at a 1/7 plane. He also flashed a changeup using fastball arm speed at 78-79 mph.

10/26/14
5-foot-10, 160-pound average build. From the outfield he showcases a loose fast arm from a high-¾ slot at 79 mph from right-field to home. Left-handed hitter that stand tall and has tendency to drop his hands. Has an uphill swing with some strength to his pull side. Top exit velocity of 79 mph and ran a 7.26 60-yard dash. On the mound the lefty closes himself off on his delivery a bit. Throws from a high-¾ slot with fastball ranging from 80-82 mph with some run. His 12/6 breaking ball is hard with depth at 71-73 mph. Shows good arm speed on a hard changeup at 76-77 mph.

2/18/13
5-foot-8, 142-pound smallish prospect. The southpaw uses a slow deliberate delivery with an inward leg kick. Shows short arm action with regular effort to his repetable delivery. Fastball sits 75-76 mph with some run to it. Curveball shows 1/7 movement at 65-67 mph. Changeup shows similar movement to the fastball at 66-67 mph. Overall good command of all three pitches. Will be an interesting follow as he physically matures.
