A definite arm to follow in the 2018 class. Young for his class. Toes the rubber from the far right side. Simple rocker step to the outside of his body followed by big, easy leg kick. Good job of using his lower half. Mechanically efficient while working through a high-¾ slot. Ball comes out of his hand quickly as his fastball sitting 80-84 mph. The pitch showed substantial run and cut at times. More velocity to come sooner rather than later. Spins to breakers, both being above average offerings. Breaking ball was sharp with depth on a 1/7 plane at 69-70 mph. Slider had less movement but did enough to miss barrels at 72-73 mph. Also showed feel for a changeup, maintaining fastball arm speed.
