Scouting Notes:Another quality outing from the young right-hander. Athletic delivery with a fastball that was up to 84 mph. Breaking ball was very sharp, especially when down in the zone. Second solid outing in a row we've seen from him.

Scouting Notes: Good athlete on the mound who also had a solid showing as a position guy. Good mover on the mound with an efficient delivery. Arm's clean and he's able to generate above average arm speed. Sat in the low 80s for the most of his outing but projects to throw harder down the road. Complements fastball with a sharp breaking ball that he spins well. Firm pitch with good depth that cause swing/miss throughout.

Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Easy, athletic delivery. Has feel for what he is doing out there. Movements are well timed/create energy and balanced down the mound. Clean arm through a high-3/4 slot.
Fastball: 77-79 mph. Ball comes out well. Much more velocity to come. Filled up the zone with the pitch.
Curveball: 69-71 mph. Spins a big, sharp breaking ball that moves on an 11/5 plane. Showed confidence in the offering that acted as his put away pitch.
Changeup: 75 mph. Quality third offering that he can place in the zone with some late fading action.
Pitchability: Pounded the zone throughout his outing.
Body Type: 6-foot, 165-pound athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics: Open stance with a small leg kick that engages his hands well.
Hit: Level bat path with a middle of the field approach with above average bat speed. Athletic actions in the box with the ability to generate natural backspin. Swing works.
Power: Flashes of pop to the gaps with more to come as he develops and adds size.
Offensive Projection: Run Producer ceiling.
Field: In the infield he plays with quick, athletic feet. Shows both above average range and ball skills.
Throw: Loose arm with obvious jump out of the hand.
Defensive Projection: Arm, skill set, and athleticism to play multiple positions.
Body Type: 6-foot, 165-pound frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Athletic movement patterns on the bump. Works quickly with good direction and easy delivery. Arm works well through a high-¾ slot/should easily support added strength with maturity. Fast arm.
Fastball: 79-81 mph. Easy velocity with more to come. 99% spin efficiency.
Curveball: Sharp pitch. Spins it well and looks to have feel for it. Came in at 71-75 mph.
Pitchability: Filled it up.
Additional Comments: Good athlete with all the physical signs of more velo to come. Can really spin it as well. High follow.
Body Type: 5-foot-10, 195-pound athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics: Slightly open stance with smooth and simple movements in his load with a bat tip.
Hit: Middle-back approach with a level bat path. Barrels up a lot of balls, and creates line drives to all fields.
Power: Ball jumps off his bat to the pull side.
Offensive Projection: Multiple Roles.
Field: Looks the part in the infield, Plays with quick feet and athletic actions. Moves well out there.
Throw: Arm is clean/works well.
Defensive Projection: Multiple Spots.
Body Type: 6-foot, 165-pound thin frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Smooth arm action with a quick delivery. Little incorporation of lower half which could be leaving mph on the table.
Fastball: 75-79 mph. Ball sneaks up on hitters.
Curveball: 63-67 mph. 11/5 movement.
Pitchability: Tended to miss up in the zone. Could be corrected with more repeatable delivery.
Additional Comments: Room to grow into thin frame. Velo and command can be increased with slight adjustment to mechanics.
Body Type: 6-foot, 165-pound prospect with thin frame.
Swing Mechanics: Wide base, with fluid movements, slightly uphill bat path.
Hit: Feel for the swing, creates consistent solid contact with some loft.
Power: Line drive type with more power to comes as he matures physically. 77 mph exit velocity.
Offensive Projection: Multiple roles.
Run: 4.63 H to 1st
Field: Solid glove, longer arm action and released than desired for MIF. Tends to get into heels some while fielding.
Throw: Above average arm strength for his age. 82 mph across the diamond.
Defensive Projection: Projects more a corner IF at this stage. If arm strength continues to improve he could stay on the left side.
Additional Comments: Needs to work on playing thru the ball more as well as improving the release time on his throws. Has solid tools to work with.
Body Type: 6-foot, 161-pound athletic frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Still a bit on the raw side mechanically. Initiates windup with small rocker step to outside of his body. Straight up and down leg kick. Tendency to land closed on foot contact. Short arm action. Gets long with the front side.
Fastball: Mostly straight at 76-78 mph.
Curveball: Located consistently for strikes at 67-68 mph. Good two-plane action. Above average pitch at this stage.
Changeup: Sat 67-69 mph with some arm side run.
Summary: Athletic prospect that shows potential on the mound. With some refinement of his mechanics and improved use of his lower half, he has a chance on the mound. Can currently pitch of FB/CB combo alone.

Body Type: 6-foot 161-pound prospect.
Swing Mechanics: Starts in a balanced setup and uses a leg kick load. Shows a good swing that keeps his barrel through the zone with a on plane bat path.
Hit: Strong hands and good barrel control.
Power: 81 mph exit velocity.
Offensive Projection: Shows a good swing with athletic movements. Should eventually develop into a gap to gap threat.
Field: In the infield he shows good hands and feet with smooth actions. Overall good athlete with a quick arm.
Throw: 80 mph across the diamond.
Run: 4.57 home to first
Defensive Projection: As he develops he should be able to add enough arm strength to potentially stick at SS at the next level.
