Two-way prospect. On the bump the right-hander showed feel for three pitches while generating easy velocity up to 85 mph. As a position player he picked it in the infield, offering a skill set that has a chance to stay up the middle at the next level. Smooth, line drive swinger that used all fields with a nice level path. Good player.
6/28/16
A 5-foot-10, 120-pound infielder with an athletic frame. Ran a 7.81 60-yard dash. At the plate he starts in a balanced setup and gets efficient use out of his lower half through a leg kick load and well timed weight shift into contact. Has some batspeed as he gets through the zone on downhill path. Would see increase in line drive production with a flatter path. Found the barrel often in batting practice and reached a top exit velocity of 70 mph. In the infield he has quickness to his footwork and does a nice job of playing low. Glove skills are there. Threw across the infield with 67 mph arm strength.
