Brandon Neff: RHP/SS, (2022) Milford, OH. 6-foot-4, 145-pound lengthy. In the box, Neff had an exit velocity of 81 mph. Begins in a balanced stance with a quick controlled load, then uses a leg kick. Had average bat speed and a flat swing plane. Athletic in the infield, his best throw was registered at 80 mph; has athletic developing feet, a developing exchange, and sure hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. On the mound, had a ¾ arm angle and a compact arm action with good arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Showed an athletic balance point. Threw his fastball 77-79 mph; has running action and arm side control. Shows plus action on his 11/5 curveball (66-69). His changeup (69-71) showed fading action and arm side command.

Hit: Balanced stance from the right side. Goes with a bat tip for rhythm during leg kick timing trigger. Creates good direction with lower half as bat accelerates through the zone on a slightly downhill trajectoruy. Stronger than he is fast with swing but tools are comparable.
Power: Line drive pop now with much more to come.
Offensive Projection: Middle ceiling.

Field: Rangy defender that covers a ton of ground out there. Maintains actions on the moves. Hands work well. Solid defender.
Throw: Loose whippy arm with more strength to come. 
Defensive Projection: Left side of infield.

Delivery Notes: Interesting arm to follow. Lanky, 6-foot-2 athlete that gets down the mound well. Arm works well, showing compact action through a 3/4 slot.
Fastball: Should add easy velo as he adds strength. Fastball has regular run and sink.
Fastball Spin Rate: 1700-1900.
Curveball: Slurvish look to it with some bite. Like everything else should sharpen up as physical maturation takes its course.
Curveball Spin Rate: 1400-1600.
Changeup: Fastball look out of the hand with some later fading action.
Pitchability: In/out.
