Shows a physical frame on the mound with a smooth, lower effort delivery. Arm is short and compact through a high-¾ slot, displaying noticeable whip. The amount of cut on his fastball almost has the pitch resembling a slider at 78-80 mph. Changeup has a fastball look out of the with the same heavy cutting action at 73-75 mph. Also flashed an 11/5 shaped breaking ball with solid depth and enough action to miss barrels at 69-70 mph. Should be very effective with his combination of feel and movement on all offerings. A righty swinger with a smooth loading sequence. Goes with a slight back load during his aggressive stride forward. Pre launch movements create balance and are well timed. Strength stands out in swing. A middle of the lineup guy that can create natural backspin to both gaps. Drove the ball with authority in BP. Worked out in the infield and outfield. In the infield he plays under control and does a nice job creating direction with his feet. Glove is reliable and he fielded the ball nicely, on the left side of his body. Took ground balls at shortstop but skill set plays more in the corners at the next level. In the outfield he played under control in his approach. Ball skills are above average through fielding. A corner type with an average to slightly above average arm.
