On the mound, Rimke worked a three-pitch mix — fastball sat a firm 83-85, topped at 86, alongside a 70-73 mph slider and a 74-79 mph changeup. The fastball plays ahead of the class, consistent with prior looks. The slider shows a usable secondary at 70-73 mph.

Jake Rimke: 3B/RHP, (2027) Medina, OH. 5-foot-6, 140-pound. (62.3 mph bat speed average). (18.0 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced stance with a compact load, then used a quick stride. Bat speed was efficient, displayed a simple flat swing plane and high finish. Solid in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 75 mph; has soft hands, choppy feet, and a developing exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. On the mound, showing some arm speed he used a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows some effort. Showed slight running action. (Max spin 1953; Avg 1865). Showed a 10/4 slider with late action. (Max spin 1805; Avg 1800).
