Owen Hakanson: RHP/SS, (2027) Springboro High School, OH. 5-foot-11, 135-pound. Begins in a balanced stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was efficient, displayed a simple flat swing plane and high finish. Solid in the infield, his best throw was registered at 69 mph; has sure hands, consistent feet, and a natural exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Had a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. On the mound, showed developing arm speed, he had a high ¾ arm angle and a compact arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Has slight running action. (Max spin 1743; Avg 1706). Threw a 11/5 curveball with gradual action. (Max spin 1770; Avg 1756).
