Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a quick stride. Bat speed was quick, used a loose uphill swing plane and balanced finish. Solid in the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 83 mph; has quick feet, soft hands, and a natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Used a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. On the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle and a quick arm action while showing consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2111; Avg 2038). His 11/5 curveball has gradual action. (Max spin 2253; Avg 2231). Showed a 10/4 slider with late tight action. (Max spin 2438; Avg 2408).
