5-foot-10, 175-pound catcher, Fascia was an attendee of the New Year Open. At the plate, it’s a compact swing where he does a good job getting into launch position, he looks to get his bat head out front and when he does, puts together quality reps working with lift to the pull-side. Behind the plate, he worked in the 2.15-2.30 range, displayed a clean transfer, accurate footwork, and let off throws up to 69. He’s a 2021 grad who has made strides on both sides of the ball and will be one to keep tabs on going forward.
