The right-handed hitter out of the Newmarket Hawks program worked to the middle of the field throughout his two rounds, while also showing the ability to work the other way. McLean generated a peak exit velocity of 88.1mph. There’s also upside on the mound where McLean sat 81-82mph with the fastball, partnered with a curveball at 74-75mph and slider at 71-73mph.
