11.3.17 - Kennedy, a young 2020 grad had himself a solid workout in all categories. Room to mature physically at 5-foot-7, 150-pounds, Kennedy showed athletic actions on both sides of the ball. Defensively, showed body control and moved well side to side as well coming on the ball. Arm is clean with more velo to come, hands work with room to soften up, showed he could make play on the run. At the plate, good setup, ready to hit with rhythm to swing, starts open and works back online with movement to contact, good path to contact and works to stay level and inside of ball, showed feel for barrel and whip through the zone. Fundamentals are there, added strength will play big role for Kennedy and his future development.
