Cornelisse is an interesting prospect in the class of 2016. A right-handed hitter with the tools to hit, to go along with a strong outfield arm and athletic actions, he has a lot of promising attributes. A dual athlete who also plays football, Cornelisse has lots some reps due to his two-sport play. That said, he is a strong defensive outfielder who gets good reads on balls and has a strong an accurate arm as he was 83 mph from the outfield. At the plate, Cornelisse is balanced and had a best exit velocity of 88 mph. At times, he will cut off his backside and lift with his bat path, when he is short and incorporates lower half, Cornelisse is a gap to gap hitter with some speed at 7.25 in the 60-yard dash.

6-foot-2, 190-pound athletic frame with room for added strength gains. Quick twitch actions in the outfield. Worked through the ball well with clean transfer. Arm showed quickness with top outfield velocity of the day at 83 mph. At the plate, hits from a balanced stance, small leg kick to load, showed level bat path with some bat speed. Hands were quick to contact, more in legs to be had. Exit velocity was 88 mph, 40 time was 5.07.
