Troyer, 5-foot-11, 150-pounds, has a long, lengthy frame and impressed us at JFG Trials. At the plate Troyer starts in an open stance, as he gets into his swing he has a small leg kick. When he's on time, he gets on plane and shows a bat on ball ability. On the mound, Troyer pounded the zone with all 4 pitches. Fastball topped 71 mph, slider was 56-58 mph, curveball was 55-57 mph and change up sat 62-64 mph. There is lots of projection in Troyer's game, so it will be interesting to see how he develops.
