Forgione, a left-handed hitting catcher from the 2018 class, listed at 5-foot-10, 155-pounds with body to add more muscle and size. Ran a 7.46 in the 60. Defensively, new to the position, quickness in transfer and feet is not there yet but the arm worked really well, as he was under control and accurate with 76 mph from the crouch position, once he learns to get rid of it and speed his game up he could really take off defensively. At the plate, hits with open front foot, loads back in legs and weight transfers well to contact, shows some quick twitch in hands, had some lift to finish which help him get ball in air, exit velocity of 82 mph. One to keep an eye with a chance to be solid defender and hit from the left side. Definite follow for us.
