2/09/25

2025 Canadian College & University Showcase
Deacon continues to trend upward, showing strong progression over the past year. At 6-foot-3, 185-pounds, it’s a long, projectable frame with present strength and room to fill out further. The left-handed hitting Bearcats product worked up to a peak exit velocity of 92.3 mph (avg. 88.7), with a leveraged swing that generated hard contact to all fields. Worked for a hard hit percentage of 60%, one of the stronger marks on the day. Athletic mover for his size who should be able to stick on the left side with continued strength gains. The length and projection value make Deacon a potential steal for Canadian programs in the future.
