Toolsy 2020 grad who showed off his versatility on the day. Ran a clean 7.24 sixty that will get quicker over time. Defensively, was clean from both the infield and outfield. Athletic actions with active lower half and bounce in his step. Arm had life from both positions, 84 mph from the infield and 86 mph from the outfield. Switch hitter, shows more feel from the left side, timing is biggest concern but the hands work with some twitchy actions, tools to work with at the plate. Zhang also can jump on the mound as well. Works from almost low-3/4 slot with natural run on fastball that has been up to 81 mph. Will show feel for curveball at times. Can get stiff and slow with his actions on the mound, still has feel and advancement for his age. Athletic player who can do a lot of things well on the ball field. Very interesting player and one worth watching.

Young 2020 grad listed at 6-foot, 145-pounds. Athletic actions as he moved well out the box and during defensive portion. Lots of energy and bounce to lower half. Was a 4.38 down the line. Defensively, quick feet and first step, showedhe could go to either side making highlight plays each way. Hands funneled baseball well and arm showed life and carry out the hand. At the plate, switch hitter with quick hands, line drive type swing, loads early and waits before he starts swing to contact from both sides, more rhythm from the left, when its on time ball jumped from right side. Off the mound, arm works, stabbing action in the back from separation, works from 3/4 slot, fastball in the low 80's,arm quick getting out front, worked down in zone while changeup showed depth and fading action, breaking ball more of a slide, showed he could spin it, one of the more advanced players in his class, lots of tools and athleticism to work with, will be on radar for years to come, solid foundation to work with.
