Spring was one of the more impressive pitchers during the bullpens showcasing projectable pitches with an effortless delivery. Standing 6-foot-2 and 160-pounds, there is lots of room for growth and added strength. The arm is quick and the delivery does not have a lot of restrictions. He stays very balanced with good lines towards the plate. The fastball was 81-83 mph with command. Most pitches were in the box with a repeatable delivery. The curveball (69-70 mph) was tight with some depth. There was a defined break with projectable spin. He threw a few change ups (75 mph) that had some fade from the same slot. It was an impressive three pitch mix for a fifteen year old with definite upside.
