11.3.17 - Dessureault is an unsigned senior who worked out as a pitcher and outfielder. Noticeable arm strength as he was 85 mph from the outfield with live lower half and quick first step. On the mound, arm shows same whip, hesitates over the rubber with shoulders in an uphill angle, still creates good angle on pitches as fastball worked in 82-83 range. Curveball had 11/5 shape and gradual break at 74 mph while his changeup showed cutting actions in the mid 70's. Pounded the zone for the majority of his pen, Dessureault will be a nice add to the right college program as an arm who is not done developing.
