7/5/17 Lalonde made a significant jump in his numbers from the winter indoor workout as he showed athletic actions positionally and a curveball with depth and spin on the mound. Ran a 7.15 sixty with more there, at the plate, minimal movement in setup, hands are quick to the ball, line drives and barrels in BP with no lower half, arm was clean from outfield, will fall off causing ball to sail and losing its life out the hand. On the mound, arm works in the back and gets out front easily, threw a couple really crisp curveballs with depth that froze hitters. A lot to work with from Lalonde, clean actions with speed and athleticism, should be one to keep an eye on, could be ready to make a jump in the near future. 60-Yard Dash: 7.15 Exit Velocity: 82 OF Velocity: 79
2/20/17 Young 2019 outfielder listed at 5-foot-11, 168-pounds with a frame to add more size and strength. Ran a lasered timed 60 at 7.38. From the outfield, arm was short in the back and quick out front. Added reps on footwork and getting legs underneath him when throws will help with arm strength and carry. Can tell there is more in him as the velocity was 79 mph. At the plate, hits from the right side, small toe tap to stride, loads with back elbow into launch position pre-pitch, some rawness to swing but the stroke is short and the athleticism along with added strength and reps will be huge for Lalonde. 60-Yard Dash: 7.38 Exit Velocity: 74 OF Velocity: 79
