4.2.17 - Lassaline, a 5-foot-11, 165-pound two-way guy with room to carry more size and mature. Attacked ball well from outfield, arm worked, clean in the back and was outfront from natural 3/4 slot and online at 74 mph. At the plate, creates rhythm from right side, hands in position to hit, balanced in lower half, upper half can leak at times, some whip through the zone and had an exit velo of 81 mph, path can get flatter with more of line drive approach. On the mound, fastball was downhill while working over the top, would see some cut at times. Changeup had depth and worked down in zone, slow breaker with 12/6 spin, threw a couple down in zone. Room to incorporate more in lower half and stride. Tools to work with for the 2018 grad.
